Effective Reading Intervention Strategies
Every child deserves to feel confident when they open a book.
If your child is struggling with reading, you're not alone. Reading is complex, and every child's challenges are unique. That's why I start with a comprehensive assessment to understand exactly where your child needs support. Utilizing proven reading intervention strategies, I create a personalized reading plan tailored to their specific needs and reading level. Our sessions focus on building both reading skills and confidence.

Tutoring Sessions
Personalized learning that meets your child where they are.
Every tutoring session is designed around your child's unique abilities and reading level. I use a proven, multi-sensory approach (based on the Orton-Gillingham method) that engages learners through movement, sound, and hands-on activities. This active learning style keeps children engaged while building the specific skills they need to overcome reading challenges.

I monitor progress closely and adjust my approach to match your child's learning pace. Sessions incorporate your child's interests and goals, making reading feel relevant and motivating. The result? Steady progress and a growing love of reading.

About Me.
I'm a Wyoming resident, a parent, and a lifelong educator passionate about helping chldren become confident readers.
My husband and I have called Wyoming home for years. Our two children are Wyoming High School graduates - our daughter is now a Special Education teacher with Cincinnati Public Schools, and our son plays football at the University of Dayton while studying Media Production. As a parent, I understand the concerns and hopes you have for your child's success.
I began my career teaching second grade and kindergarten before discovering my true calling; helping struggling readers thrive. I pursued advanced training in dyslexia remediation and evidence-based literacy instruction, earning specialized certifications in Orton-Gillinham methodology and PreK-12 reading instruction.
My approach is simple: every child can become a confident reader with the right support. I create individualized reading plans tailored to each student's needs, equip parents with tools for successful practice at home, and celebrate every breakthrough along the way.
